About the Journal
Respiratory Medicine is an internationally-renowned journal devoted to the rapid publication of clinically-relevant respiratory medicine research. It combines cutting-edge original research with state-of-the-art reviews dealing with all aspects of respiratory diseases and therapy.
Topics include adult and paediatric medicine, epidemiology, immunology and cell biology, physiology, occupational disorders, and the role of allergens and pollutants. Respiratory Medicine is increasingly the journal of choice for publication of phased trial work, sharing insights on effectiveness, dosage and methods of action.
Authors use the simple Elsevier Editorial System to submit work. Respiratory Medicine publishes full-length original papers, reviews, correspondence, and short reports, and is included in leading abstracting services: AIDS Abstracts, Current Contents, MEDLINE®, EMBASE, Science Citation Index, Scopus, and more. This journal supports Open Access.
Other benefits for authors include a free service called Audioslides. These short, webcast-style presentations are displayed next to published articles on ScienceDirect, and are free to view. Audioslides let authors explain research in their own words, and can be embedded on authors’ websites and shared via social media. A great way to build presentation skills, Audioslides can help to communicate and share valuable research more effectively.
