Learning objectives

Following completion of this activity you should be able to:

  • Correctly diagnose patients with severe eosinophilic asthma
  • Be familiar with the application of blood or sputum eosinophil counts as markers for eosinophilic asthma
  • Recognize the need for individualized treatment options, with phenotyping of patients whose asthma remains poorly controlled
